- go to a "Русская баня" (Russkaya banya - Russian bath), right after "парилка" ("parilka" - steam room) if you are courageous or desperate you can dive into a ice-hole (that Russians traditionally do after the steam room for developing resistance to the cold and health promotion). Be careful you should be healthy enough for such procedures.

- experience a Russian New Year at night of 31st December with a "Ёлка" ("Yolka" - Cristmass tree), street parties and fireworks. - sculpt a "снежная баба" ("snezhnaya baba "- a snowman) and "играть в снежки" ("igrat' v snezhki" - to play snowball fight) - participate in outdoor activities like ice-skating, ice-sliding, skying on natural ice and snow. Go to a forest? Or skating rink in a city park? To skate up to weariness, then come to a warm cafe to drink hot tea or gluhwein - this is unforgettable feeling!

- It's cheaper than in a touristic season. Accomodation, excursions, tickets - everything is cheaper than in summer. - It's amazingly beautiful! Have you ever been in a winter fairy tail? - Eventually who else experienced a -30C frost?

Actually frost in the middle Russia is not so sharp as in other Regions. In -30C in Krasnoyarsk is less cold than -20C or even -15C in, for example, in Moscow or St-Petersburg. All due to the fact that in Krasnoyarsk humidity is less than in mentioned above cities. Just be sure that you take a warm clothes, including cap and gloves and enjoy the Russian winter!
