What is longer – Russia or Moon?

Of cause, this is theoretical question as there couldn’t be a length for the spherical object.

However..

Russia is a biggest country in the World. Its area is 17,1 mio km2 that almost two times more than area of the second largest country – Canada. Russia is almost comparable to the area of Moon.

The length of Russia from west to east is about 11,000 kilometers, and from north to south about 3,000 kilometers (for comparison the diameter of the Moon is about 3,500 km).

So, if we discarded all the logical prejudices, we could say that Russia is longer than Moon.
